ABOUT ELIZABETH
Hi, I’m Elizabeth.
I'm Elizabeth McAdam, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Perinatal Mental Health professional offering virtual and in person therapy.
WHY THIS WORK MATTERS TO ME
My own experiences of motherhood and loss have shaped both who I am and how I understand the women I work with. I was grateful to have therapeutic support during my own transition into motherhood, and I know how meaningful it can be to have a place where your experience matters.
I'm passionate about offering women a space to feel heard and navigate the unique challenges that can arise on the journey to and through motherhood. I especially love helping women understand themselves more deeply and connect with their own inner wisdom as they navigate the inevitable highs and lows along the way.
The process of becoming a mother can be one of the most profound and complicated transitions we experience, especially in a culture that asks so much of women and mothers.
Pregnancy hardship, infertility, loss, mental health challenges, postpartum struggles, relationship changes, and the realities of parenting can go surprisingly undiscussed. Sometimes these experiences feel too loaded to share even with the people closest to us. We may worry about being judged, misunderstood, or touching a nerve.
